Is it necessary to join as a member?

No, it is not mandatory to join as a member. Non-members can still enjoy a high-quality shopping experience. However, if you become a member, we can provide you with additional benefits and discounts.

How can I become a Regular member / VIP member?

Regular member:
To become a member, simply click on "Register" in the top right corner of the webpage. It's free of charge, and as a new member, we will offer you a 10% discount on your first purchase.

VIP member.
Accumulate purchases over HK$1000 to become a VIP member, and enjoy a 5% discount on all subsequent orders.
Accumulate purchases over HK$3000 to become an esteemed member, and enjoy a 10% discount on all subsequent orders.

Why is the incorrect amount displayed after calculating the new member discount / VIP member discount?

All discounts are based on the amount displayed at checkout. Please note the following:

  • All discounts will be rounded to the nearest whole number.
  • The discounts do not apply to courses and clearance items.
  • The discounts do not apply to shipping fees.
  • Some limited-time promotional offers cannot be used in conjunction with the member discount.
I am a VIP member, but I forgot to log in when placing my order, so the VIP discount was not applied. What should I do?

Sorry, due to system limitations, we are unable to refund the difference in discounts. Therefore, we kindly request VIP members to remember to log in before placing their orders. We can only assist in adding the order back to your account and continue accumulating your purchase amount.

What should I do if I forget to use a promo code when placing an order?

If your order has not been paid yet, please contact us to add the promo code.
If your order has already been paid, we apologize as due to system limitations, the promo code cannot be applied to paid orders. You can save your promo code for your next purchase.

Can I order yarns that is not sold by JI Handcraft?

Yes, we can try to order the requested yarns for customers. However, the ordering time may take several weeks, and it will be sold in full packs of the same color (usually 5-10 pieces).

Can out-of-stock items be pre-ordered?

Some items are seasonal and cannot be pre-ordered, but most of our products are available for pre-order. If you wish to pre-order, please contact us. Please note that the pre-order period may take several weeks, and full payment is required at the time of pre-order.

Can I cancel my order after purchasing a product?

If the order has been paid for, it cannot be canceled.

Is it possible to exchange for a different color or a different product after making a purchase?

Pre-ordered products, customized products, and courses cannot be exchanged for other items.

For products in the yarns category, we generally do not allow exchanges due to hygiene reasons. If there are special circumstances, we can make arrangements on a case-by-case basis. However, any additional shipping fees incurred will be the responsibility of the customer.

What class schedules are available for selection?

Can I change the time after making a reservation?

Yes, you can change the class time, but please inform us at least one day in advance. Otherwise, we will not be able to accommodate the change.

In case of inclement weather, how will the classes be arranged?

We will only make special arrangements for classes in the event of a black rainstorm warning and typhoon signal no.8 or above. Classes will proceed as scheduled in other situations.
If there are any special arrangements, our tutor will contact the students.

Does the crochet introductory course have a fixed teaching content?

Our tutor will prioritize teaching the basic crochet stitches and how to read patterns. As for the specific projects to be crocheted during the workshop, there are no strict requirements. Our tutor will tailor the teaching content based on your preferences and skill level. If you come across a desired pattern style elsewhere, you can provide a photo to the instructor to inquire whether it is suitable for instruction.

Is the crochet introductory course limited to a maximum of two participants?

No, it is not limited to a maximum of two participants. We can accommodate up to four participants in the crochet introductory course. Please contact us for inquiries.

Why is there a discrepancy between the custom-made product and the size I expected?

All our custom-made products are hand-woven, and some discrepancies within a reasonable range are inevitable. Additionally, the yarn itself has a certain level of elasticity, and different measurement methods may result in variations in size.

Payment inquiries.

Payment failed. What should I do?

Our online payment is entrusted to the reliable third-party payment service provider, Yedpay. Payment failure may be due to issues with your credit card or maintenance of the relevant payment gateway. We recommend trying again, and if the problem persists, consider using an alternative payment method or contacting us for assistance.

**Please note that our online payment service is currently unable to support Tap & Go.

Is there a handling fee for credit card payments?

No, there is no handling fee. We will cover all payment processing fees, and customers only need to pay the amount shown on their order.

How can I know if my payment has been successful?

After a successful payment, we will send you an email with the subject "We are processing your order!" If payment fails, you will typically receive an immediate notification on the payment page.

Delivery inquiries.

Is there an additional delivery fee for delivery?

For any single order over HK$350, shipping fees will be waived. If the order is below HK$350, an additional fee of HK$30 will be charged for shipping, or you can choose to pay the shipping fee upon delivery (by paying directly to SF Express).

Is there an additional charge for remote locations such as Discovery Bay or Stanley?

We are currently waiving the additional delivery charges for remote locations until further notice.

Do you deliver to locations outside of Hong Kong?

We are currently unable to deliver to locations outside of Hong Kong.

Is it possible to choose self-pickup at the Lai Chi Kok store?

Certainly, however, the self-pickup option is currently not available on our online store. Please place your order and contact us promptly to arrange for self-pickup.

Can I pick up my order at a self-pickup location?

Yes, we can ship your order to a SF Express self-pickup location or smart locker. Please provide the pickup point number in the address field when placing your order.

How long after placing an order will it be shipped?

For all in-stock items, we guarantee shipping within 2 days. In general, items can be shipped in the same day or next day, depending on the time of your order and the warehouse's level of busyness.

How long does it take for the delivery to arrive after shipped?

We use SF Express as our designated shipping method. Under normal circumstances, the products will be delivered to the destination on the second day after shipped.

Is it possible to select a specific delivery time?

We are unable to arrange specific delivery times for customers. If you have special requirements, please contact SF Express directly for further assistance.
